Pandora still not willing to support Windows Phone

Pandora

Robert Scoble is at it again, proper name dropping on his interactions with the tech glitterati at CES. Well-nigh of his Google+ discussion tin can be written off as his usual "Why Windows Telephone will neglect" riff (respond: not enough apps), just in the garrulous postal service he does bring up an interesting word he had with Tom Conrad, the chief technology officer at Pandora.

According to Scoble:

"I walked around the testify with the CTO of Pandora. He told me he still isn't willing to support Windows Phone. Why not? We were walking around the new Ford motorcar, which has Pandora support. Pandora was ALL OVER the CES prove flooring. Yous could see that a small visitor still has to decide where to put its evolution resources. Clearly, after walking the testify floor, that's Android and iOS"

It's 1 affair for Pandora to hold off on Windows Telephone in 2022 merely to say in 2022 they yet have no plans to support Windows Phone is a bit unbelievable. Even more and then since nosotros do have third party clients already doing their work (e.g. MetroRadio, Radio Controlled). Of course, we can relish in the idea that developers are making money off of Pandora and they're not seeing a dime from their continued disregard for Windows Telephone. Still, that's cold comfort for the platform every bit a whole.
